Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
